CFPI Members Needed to Drive the Rescue Van
Cause for Paws, Inc members at least 21 years old, have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record and current personal vehicle insurance may apply to be a driver. Our insurance provider requires a copy of your driver's license and current vehicle insurance to submit for background check. Once vetted you will need to attend an orientation and then you're ready to drive!
CFPI Rescue Van Drivers need to arrive at the shelter at least 30 minutes in advance of the transport to pick up the animals. There will be some animal handling but the animal shelter volunteers are responsible for the animals. You are representing CFPI, so if available, please wear one of our tee shirts.

Rescue Van Driver Opportunities
The first Wednesday of each month CFPI Rescue Van Drivers transport animals to Wayside Waifs, a no kill shelter in KC. Your interest in helping with these transports, giving hope to these animals will make even this long day feel so rewarding.
Sometimes emergency transports are needed. Maybe there is only a small window of time to make a cross country connection so a pet can get to their new home. Perhaps the transport is urgent because of medical/health issues. Whatever the reason, CFPI has been asked to transport them to another location so the animal has an opportunity to be adopted.
