Kitten season is officially here and we're having a Kitten Shower to help stock the Hutchinson Animal Shelter's shelves with supplies.

Come out and see us at Walmart on Saturday, May 19th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. We'll have some furry friends for you to meet and you can drop off your donated items at the Cause for Paws booth.

We would like to invite all of you to Aaron's 1st annual bike show that will be held May 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food, fun, bikes, music, door prizes and raffles. All proceeds made this day will be donated to Cause for Paws. Register your bike at Bullet Custom Bikes.

Come join Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland and Cause for Paws on four afternoons of fun-filled activities making pet snacks, erichment toys, learn about pet care and meet a therapy or service dog. Enjoy these activities while doing community service and making new Girl Scout friends.

Cause for Paws, Inc. Receives Several Large Grants

CFPI board is pleased to announce several large grants have been received for the STOP program, a spay/neuter assistance program. Applications can be picked up at the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, Petco or local vets. Dogs weighing over 40 pounds are given highest priority since large dogs tend to have large litters of puppies adding to pet overpopulation.

To apply for our spay/neuter assistance program print and fill out the attached APPLICATION and return it to the shelter or mail it to the STOP Coordinator at PO Box 1391, Hutchinson, Ks 67504-1391.
